A Christmas Present
I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas. Mine featured blizzard conditions and a foot of snow. Lucky for me, I have a son who is willing to work for food, especially if I threaten his access to said food, and double especially if it’s the Christmas Feast.
Me: “I can snowblow the driveway, or I can cook. Not both. Take your pick.” Him: “Is the snowblower gassed up?”
Life lately has been a mixed blessing. One of those mixed blessings is having much more free time than I’m used to. Needing to fill the idle time has given me the quiet, solitary opportunity to work on Chapter 2. It’s now complete but for another editorial fine tuning. I’m hoping It’ll be posted no later than New Year’s Eve.
